Stop At: Sumela Monastery, Trabzon Turkey
After we’ve picked up our clients from their hotel, firstly we’ll visit one of the most famous historical sites in Turkey, Sumela Monastery. The Sumela Monastery, which is located on the steep slope of Karadağ Mount rising from the valley, can be reached by the local minibusses in the National Park. It is not known when the monastery was founded, but the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism places the date around AD 386, during the reign of the emperor Theodosius I (375 – 395). According to William Miller, two Athenian monks named Barnabas and Sophronios founded the monastery. It became famous for an icon of the Virgin Mary known as the Panagia Gorgoepekoos, said to have been painted by the Apostle Luke.
After the free time given for the visit to Sumela Monastery, we meet in our vehicle and move again for the Historical Zigana Pass.

Our next stop will be Karaca Cave. Karaca Cave located within the provincial borders of Gümüşhane. After the visit to Karaca Cave, which is an art gallery with its stalactites, stalagmites and travertines, we take a break at the factory outlet store that sells the famous Pestil (dried layers of fruit pulp) and coals of the Black Sea.

Our next stop is Torul SkyWalk Terrace. Torul Glass Observation Terrace, has become one of the most widely spoken places in Turkey. This terrace, where the feet of the people vibrate, is a new address for adrenaline additcs. The Torul Glass Observation Terrace, which was started to its building in 201, introduced to the public in 2018 and gave an incredible experience to the public. Additionally, with its amazing views, it enthrals those who have seen.

Our last stop before we head back to Trabzon is Hamsiköy. We move to Hamsiköy after the Torul Skywalk Terrace, where you will feel the adrenaline intensely. At the same time, we do not miss the chance to taste the famous rice pudding at Hamsiköy which will fascinate you by the view of Hamsiköy Road, which is the Historical Zigana Road.
