Day 1: Ephesus Tour

We will pick you up from Izmir Airport or the bus station in Selcuk.
Discover one of the most popular trade cities of ancient Greek and Roman Empire. Ephesus is probably the most famous ancient site in Turkey. It was a busy trade center as a port city. Ephesus had a great influence on the ancient world. Also as an important religious center of early Christianity and one of the seven churches mentioned in the Book of Revelations. In Ephesus you will see,Celcus library,Temple of Hadrian,the fountain of Trajan and the Theater and more.

Stop At: Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House), Sultaniye Mahallesi, Selcuk 35100 Turkey
Virgin Mary’s House is a Catholic shrine located at the skirt of Bulbul Mountain in Selcuk. It is discovered after a nun in Germany described the place in her visions abaout a house Mother Mary lived before she died. It has become an important pilgrimage spot for Catholics since then.

Temple of Artemis is one of the Seven Wonders of the World completed in 550 BC is at the ourskirts of Ephesus. It is a sanctuary built in a sacred place. The temple itself dates back to 8th century BC but the sacred place dates way back. It has been destroyed three times and rebuilt. But it has been abandoned after Christians started to rule the area.

You will walk to the white cliffs of Pamukkale. You will have another hour too discover the white cliffs and enjoy the hot waters on the cliffs.

You will head to the north gate of Hierapolis and start to explore this mighty antique city. We will see the Necropolis, Bath and Basilica, Frontinius Gate, Frontinius Street, Latrina, Northern Byzantine Gate, Fountain of the Tritons and the Temple of Apollon.

Day 3: Aphrodisias Ancient City

Aphrodisias is one of the oldest sacred sites in Turkey. First dedicated to the ancient Mother Goddess and then the Greek Goddess Aphrodite, it was the site of the magnificent Temple of APhrodite and the home of a famous marble sculpture school whose marble products were of great renown in the Roman World. Today, the Temple of Aphrodite is partically restored, and it is not hard to imagine it in its glory. The Aphrosias site also offers visitors ruins of a large theatre, a stadium and a museum, to name just a few.
