Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: The Stone of Million, Alemdar, Divan Yolu Cd. No:2, 34110 Fatih/İstanbul, Turkey

After we pick up guests from hotels, we start by a tall marble shaft called the Million, which still stands, at the beginning of Divan Yolu. The Stone of Million is all that remains of the 4th-century triumphal gate that served as the Byzantine zero-mile marker. Consciously emulating the Golden Milestone (Milliarium Aureum) in Rome’s Forum, it was considered as the origin of all the roads leading to the European cities of the Byzantine Empire, and on its base were inscribed the distances of all the main cities of the Empire from Constantinople.

Additionally From there, we walk on to see some of the Ottoman Sultans’ mausoleums, mosques, Roman forums, schools before we’ll head to famous The Burnt Column

Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Cemberlitas Sutunu, Mollafenari Mahallesi, Vezirhan Cd. No. 16-18 Fatih, Istanbul Turkey

Our nex stop is Cemberlitas Sutunu also known as The Burt Column. It was erected on May 11, 330 by Constantine the Great to celebrate the designation of Constantinople as the new capital of the Roman Empire. The column was the centerpiece in the Forum of Constantine, a grand colonnaded plaza which may have resembled the one designed by Bernini and built in front of St Peter’s basilica in Rome. Statues of pagan gods and Christian saints decorated the forum.
