Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Taksim Square, Gumussuyu Mh., Istanbul 34435 Turkey
Pickup from your hotel around 18:30pm. We start the evening in a traditional ‘Simit Bakery’. Simit is a bread roll covered with grape molasses and sesame seeds. We’ll visit one of the local kiraathane which literally means reading rooms. In reality, it is a coffee shop with lots of men playing cards or backgammon. After having traditional Turkish tea in a traditional tea glasses we visit another traditional place: Ocakbasi which is a traditional self-service barbecue restaurant where you sit by the fire and grill your kebabs, along with a glass of Turkish Raki of course! Finally, we end up in a Meyhane – a traditional Tavern where you taste mezes, drink Turkish Raki and listen to live Turkish Music performed by Gipsy Musicians. And of course, no Turkish Night is a complete without tasting the Turk Kahvesi-Turkish Coffee. And to give it quality, our guide who will explain to you everything to know. Return to your hotel around midnight. We do not accept guests under 18 on this tour.
