This tour will begin with hotel pick up from your hotels and drop you to one of the stations of MARMARAY in the European side of Istanbul. You will travel with your guide on this modern train. You will arrive in Uskudar MARMARAY Station

Upon our arrival to Uskudar, wel’ll head to The Yeni Valide Mosque is an 18th-century Ottoman mosque in the Üsküdar district of Istanbul, Turkey.

Construction of the Yeni Valide mosque in Üsküdar began in 1708 and was completed in 1710. It was built for sultan Ahmed III in honour of his mother Emetullah Râbi’a Gülnûş Sultan.[1] The complex consists of an imaret (hospice), arasta, primary school, the tomb of Emetullah Râbi’a Gülnûş Sultan, a courtyard shadirvan (fountain), a muvakkithane (clock tower) and offices. The building is typical of the Classical Ottoman period and of the “Sinan School” of Ottoman religious architecture. It is located in the Üsküdar neighborhood of Istanbul. The main part of the building is square-shaped and covered with a flattened main dome and four half domes. The mosque has two minarets with two balconies each. Calligraphy inside the mosque is the work of Hezarfen Mehmet Efendi.

Our next stop is The Mihrimah Sultan Mosque is a 16th-century Ottoman mosque located in the Edirnekapı neighborhood near the Byzantine land walls of Istanbul, Turkey. It was commissioned by Mihrimah Sultan, the daughter of Suleiman the Magnificent and designed by the chief imperial architect Mimar Sinan.

Our next stop is The Şemsi Pasha Mosque was designed by Ottoman imperial architect Mimar Sinan for Grand Vizier Şemsi Pasha in16th century. . It has three casement windows facing the Bosphorus and nine upper windows on three walls, adorned with coloured glass. Surrounding the Mosque is a larger complex, situated on the coast of Üsküdar, also built by court architect Sinan near the Şemsi Pasha Palace and, according to the inscription over the mosque portal, construction was completed in 1580.

After lunch, browse the markets of Kadıköy and wander through the stylish Moda. Kadikoy is historically known as Chalcedon literally meaning the ‘City of the Blind’. Our tour will begin with the historical harbour buildings of Kadikoy and will continue in the narrow streets of famous fish market and decent quarter of Moda. Visits to churches, mosques and mansions are also part of this tour. Following the tour you will take 20 minute boat ride to cross the Bosphorus. At the European side our transfer coaches will take you back to your hotel.
