Day 4: Pamukkale

The beauty of these travertines, which are known to be calcium deposit terraces, will offer you a magnificent sight. The whole area, which is under protection as a UNESCO Mixed Heritage Site, hosts some of the best-preserved examples of Roman architecture. The ancient street that passes through the necropolis, which contains more than a thousand sarcophagi, will lead you to the inner city where you’ll see the Byzantine Gate, The Domitian Gate, and the baths.
