Itinerary

Day 1: Flight to Cappadocia & Cappadocia Tour

Pass By: Istanbul, Istanbul
Airport transfer Istanbul: Early morning pick up from hotel, private transfer to Airport. (Pickup time will be notified 5 days before the tour).

Pass By: Cappadocia, Cappadocia
Airport pick-up Cappadocia: Upon arrival, meet & greet at the arrivals area. The representative will be holding a nameplate, transfer to the meeting point for your tour.

Stop At: Cappadocia, Cappadocia
4km walk along the Red & Rose Valley. The Valley is famous for the fabulous volcanic rock formations and is in the heart of Cappadocia but away from the mainstream tourist sites.

The relaxing walk will end in Cavusin Village where we will see a Rock Castle and Troglodyte dwellings where people lived until the 20th Century. Lunch is served in a Local Restaurant.

After lunch we will descend towards the center of the earth with a trip to the Underground City of Kaymakli, Kaymakli is one of the largest and deepest Underground settlements in Cappadocia. The City is approximately 40m deep and contains all the rooms commonly found in Underground Cities, Stables, Cellars, Storage rooms, Refectories, Churches, and wineries.

On the return, we will visit Pigeon Valley where you will have spectacular views of Dovecotes.
Lastly, we will stop in Ortahisar to see Ortahisar Castle the biggest mass of fairy Chimneys in Cappadocia.
Upon tour transfer to the hotel around 16:00.

The relaxing walk will end in Cavusin Village where we will see a Rock Castle and Troglodyte dwellings people lived until the 20th Century.

After lunch, we will descend towards the center of the earth with a trip to the Underground City of Kaymakli, where Kaymakli is one of the largest and deepest Underground settlements in Cappadocia. The City is approximately 40m deep and contains all the rooms commonly found in Underground Cities, Stables, Cellars, Storage rooms, Refectories, Churches, and wineries. On the return we will visit Pigeon Valley where you will have spectacular views of Dovecotes, Old abandoned Cave Homes, and Old Greek houses.

On the return we will visit Pigeon Valley where you will have spectacular views of Dovecotes, Old abandoned Cave Homes and Old Greek houses. Pigeon Valley is famous in Cappadocia due to all the small pigeon dwellings that are carved into rockfaces. Pigeon Valley viewpoint to enable you to take some great photos.

Day 2: OPTIONAL Hot-Air Balloon Ride – Cappadocia Tour & Flight to Izmir

Stop At: Devrent Valley, Devrent Mevkii No:1 Urgup Yolu, 50500 Turkey
Check out from the hotel. You can leave your luggage at the hotel.

Start the day visiting Devrent Valley also known as Imagination Valley, this is one of the most surreal-looking landscapes in Cappadocia. The next stop will be Pasabagi.

Stop At: Goreme National Park, Goreme 50180 Turkey
After lunch we continue to the Goreme Open Air Museum, important Byzantine Cave churches are found in these once remote Valleys where Monks and Nuns pursued monastic life in the 3 rd Century. Here you will see the preserved Byzantine Cave wall paintings and Frescos from the Iconoclastic period through to the end of the Selcuk Rule. Icons with scenes from the Old and New Testament can be seen above portraits of Saints and Church Fathers depicting the Structure of the Byzantine Period. Panoramic View Point Esentepe with a spectacular view over Goreme Valley and Goreme Village. End your day with a view of Uchisar Castle, this tall Rock is the highest point of the Goreme region.

Stop At: Avanos, Avanos, Cappadocia
Proceed to Avanos the Pottery Center of Cappadocia, the village is set on the banks of the Kizilirmak/Red River. The River gets its name from the Red clay deposits, here you can watch the potters at work using the traditional kick wheels, a technique that has remained unchanged for generations.
Lunch is served in a local Restaurant.

Stop At: Fairy Chimneys, Goreme Turkey
Also known as Monks Valley where Christian hermits chose to build Hermit Cells and Churches in these 3 headed Pinnacles symbolic of the Holy Trinity, it is possible to see all stages of the fairy chimneys at this spot.
Upon tour, transfer to the hotel.

Finally, we visit the Calcium Terraces and Pools.
