Day 1: Flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia – Cappadocia Day Tour
Stop At: Goreme, Goreme, Cappadocia
We’ll reach Göreme to check – in our cave room. Göreme is a town in the Cappadocia region of central Turkey. Just east of town is the Göreme Open Air Museum, with cave churches and frescoes from the 10th to 12th centuries. Southwest is Uçhisar Castle, a fortification carved into a large rock, with panoramic views from the top. To the north, the landscape at Paşabağ Valley is known for Cappadocia’s “fairy chimneys,” cone-shaped rock formations.

We’ll head to Denizli and fly back to Istanbul. Denizli is an industrial city in the southwestern part of Turkey and the eastern end of the alluvial valley formed by the river Büyük Menderes, where the plain reaches an elevation of about three hundred and fifty metres. Denizli is located in the country’s Aegean Region.
