Stop At: Kaymakli Underground City, Derinkuyu Turkey
Another UNESCO site, Kaymakli Underground City dates back to 7th-century B.C.E when numerous underground cities had been built in Cappadocia.
While the idea of digging underground dates back to as early as 6000 B.C.E, the main purpose of these mysterious spaces was all about surviving any transpassing or targeted dangers. To protect themselves against any possible invasions, these underground cities had all facilities inside and they were big enough to shelter thousands of people.
Planned as six floors initially, you will be visiting the living rooms, wineries, storages, and other parts of this fantastic site.

Stop At: Uchisar, Uchisar, Cappadocia
Nestled at the highest point of the region, Uchisar is a beautiful town with a monstrous, one single piece of volcanic formation, turned into a castle.
Today, most floors are not accessible, but you will enjoy photographing this giant landmark from different angles.
