The longest canyon of Turkey. As well as spectacular scenery there are dozens of Byzantine churches, chapels, monasteries and hermit caves dating from the 11th to 13th centuries, as this area was the settlement for early Christians. Our guide will take you to one of these to explain the beautiful religious frescoes visible on the interior walls

The final stop on this tour is Pigeon Valley, so named because it has hundreds of old pigeon houses cut into the rock face. Pigeons were bred in the region for centuries so that farmers could use their droppings for fertilizer in their fields
