Day 1: Cappadocia Private Green Tour

Stop At: Goreme Panorama, Uchisar Yolu uzeri 1.km, Goreme 50180 Turkey
GOREME ESENTEPE (PANAROMIC VIEW)
The magnificent landscape around Goreme has been formed from its solidified lava streams, its ash and tuff stone, all dating from the Neocene period. A result of thousands of years of continual erosion makes this area look like a lunar landscape. The fairy chimneys also have a great colour variety. Stop At: Derinkuyu Yeralti Sehri, Derinkuyu Turkey
DERINKUYU UNDERGROUND CITY
Derinkuyu is Cappadocia’s biggest underground with approximately 7 floors and 85m deep. It contains all the usual rooms found in an underground city (stables, cellars, storage rooms, refectories, churches, wineries etc). Apart from these, a large room with a barrel vaulted ceiling on the second floor was a missionary school, the rooms to the left being study rooms. From the 3rd and 4th floors onwards the descent is by way of vertical staircases, which lead to a cruciform plan church on the lowest floor. The 55m deep ventilation shaft was also used as a well. Not every floor was provided with surface access in order to protect the dwellers from poisoning during raids. Derinkuyu Underground City was opened to visitors in 1965 but so far only 10% can be visited.

IHLARA VALLEY – WALKING
The first Christians built their rock houses and temples by carving the tuffs in the Ihlara Valley, through which the Melendiz Stream passes. The waters of the river are called Peristrema, which means “people of the swirling waters”. Searching for the source of water in Ihlara is actually trying to reveal the meaning of life.

After touring the Ihlara Valley, you will be taken to Belisirma for a lunch that is a mix of Turkish and Western dishes.

You will stop on the outskirts of Goreme village and look down into Pigeon Valley to see the centuries old pigeon houses carved from the cliffs. Throughout the years farmers have used pigeon manure as a rich source of fertiliser for their crops…

Finally, we will stop at the local Onxy Workshop. We will see different gemstones and some jewellery.

Day 2: Cappadocia Private Red tour

Stop At: Uchisar Castle, Uchisar Turkey
You are going to be picked up from your hotel at 09:30. We will directly head to Uchisar Castle to see the breathtaking landscape of the region. This extraordinary rocky formation is the highest point where you can see captivating panoramic view of Cappadocia.

Stop At: Zelve Open Air Museum, Zelve Yolu, Nevsehir Turkey
We will head to Zelve Open Air Museum registered to UNESCO world heritage list in 1985. Actually, it is an Orthodox Monastery where you can see the rock cut churches & chapels hollowed out by early Christians, who run away from Roman persecutors. In the churches & chapels, there are many amazing and well preserved pictures called “Fresco” depicted on the walls. They could have withstood the corrosive effects of the time. They date back 5th century.

Stop At: Avanos, Avanos, Cappadocia
We will have lunch in a local restaurant where you will have chance to taste the different Turkish foods.

Stop At: Love Valley, Goreme 50180 Turkey
Afterwards the lunch, we will stop Love Valley Panorama, where you will see fairychimneys(Pinnacles) and panoramic view of Erciyes Mountain.
Duration: 25 minutes

Stop At: Avanos Carsi Seramik, Ataturk Cad. Hukumet Konagi Karsisi, Avanos Turkey
We will proceed to Avanos town where is a center of terracotta art since 2000 BC; Hittite Civilization. It is a town where you will have a chance to see and try the traditional pottery making art like carpet weaving. The clay comes from the Red River called Hallys in ancient time, passing through the town and it is also the longest river of Turkey.

Stop At: Devrent Valley, Devrent Mevkii No:1 Urgup Yolu, 50500 Turkey
Devrent Valley, also known as Imagination Valley, is a great place for practicing your imagination. There are rock formations shaped liked camels, seals, lions, and whatever else you can imagine. What a great place to let your imagination run wild

Stop At: Fairy Chimneys, Goreme Turkey
You will see best fairy chimneys of Cappadocia in Pasabag. Also known as Monks Valley, a chapel and hermitage dedicated to Saint Simeon was built into one of these fairy chimneys with three heads. Saint Simeon was a Syriac ascetic who lived in seclusion for 37 years atop a pillar near Aleppo in Syria. Inspired by his example, the hermits of Cappadocia isolated themselves from the world by cutting into these fairy chimneys and creating rooms 10-15 meters aboveground.
