The Taste of Istanbul food tour begins in the historic part of Istanbul. We meet in front of epic Spice Bazaar main gate and start the day with a delicious breakfast; crunchy boreks and traditional Turkish tea. The cheese stuffed pastries are well-cooked by a family who are in business since 1968. Next will be a visit to colorful Spice Bazaar while talking about culture and daily life in Turkey.

After leaving Spice Market, we will walk through the streets of old city and reach magnificient Suleymaniye Mosque. First we will admire the the stunning view and next will be to see interior which is also as nice as the view. The visit will be followed by a delicious food stop, which will actually be an answer for the question ”what do the Turkish people eat at home ?”

A trip to Istanbul will be incomplete without walking in the bustling streets of Grand Bazaar which is known as the first shopping mall in the world. Exploring the incomparable Grand Bazaar as real locals do, we will discover the best type of kebabs that are cooked at the moment just for us in the little hidden restaurants around the bazaar.

Turkish coffee is always best after a perfect meal. So next will be the local coffee tasting inside an old authentic madrasah just like people do for long years. After leaving Grand Bazaar, we will have our doner kebabs in a 50 year old food stall. That may be the best one in town !
