Welcome to Istanbul! Our representative will meet you at your port of entry and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours for exploration.

Day 2: Istanbul

Stop At: Hagia Sophia Mosque, Sultan Ahmet, Ayasofya MeydanI No:1, Istanbul 34122 Turkey
After breakfast, we embark on a fully-guided tour of the only city in the world that spans two continents. We visit the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and the Hippodrome.

Hagia Sophia is a Late Antique place of worship in Istanbul, designed by the Greek geometers Isidore of Miletus and Anthemius of Tralles. Built in 537 as the patriarchal cathedral of the imperial capital of Constantinople, it was the largest Christian church of the eastern Roman Empire (the Byzantine Empire) and the Eastern Orthodox Church, except during the Latin Empire from 1204 to 1261, when it became the city’s Roman Catholic cathedral. In 1453, after the Fall of Constantinople to the Ottoman Empire, it was converted into a mosque. In 1935 the secular Turkish Republic established it as a museum. In 2020, it re-opened as a mosque.

Topkapi Palace is a large museum in the east of the Fatih district of Istanbul in Turkey. In the 15th and 16th centuries it served as the main residence and administrative headquarters of the Ottoman sultans.
Construction, ordered by the Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror, began in 1459, six years after the conquest of Constantinople.

Blue Mosque, is an Ottoman-era friday mosque located in Istanbul, Turkey. A functioning mosque, it also attracts large numbers of tourist visitors with ıts blue colored tiles. It was constructed between 1609 and 1616 during the rule of Ahmed I.

Day 3: Çanakkale

Stop At: Gallipoli, Gallipoli, Canakkale Province, Turkish Aegean Coast
Today we travel to one of the most emotionally touching places in Turkey—Gallipoli—to see the WWI battlefields. Sites include the Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials, ANZAC Cove, Johnston’s Jolly Cemetery, the original trenches and tunnels, as well as the Nek.

Day 4: Pergamon & Troy

Stop At: Troy (Truva), Tevfikiye Koyu, Intepe, Canakkale Turkey
Today we step further back in time, visiting the ancient walls of Troy. Following is a tour of the magnificent Acropolis of Pergamon, whose impressive temples and library made it a renowned cultural and political center of its time.

Stop At: Pergamon Antik Kenti, Bergama Turkey
During the Hellenistic period, it became the capital of the Kingdom of Pergamon under the Attalid dynasty in 281–133 BC, who transformed it into one of the major cultural centres of the Greek world. Many remains of its impressive monuments can still be seen and especially the outstanding masterpiece of the Pergamon Altar. Pergamon was the northernmost of the seven churches of Asia cited in the New Testament Book of Revelation.

Day 5: Ephesus

Stop At: Ancient City of Ephesus, Selcuk 35920 Turkey
Absorb yourself in more history with a guided tour of Ephesus and a visit to the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Traversing the marble streets of Ephesus, notable sites we will see include the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian, and the 25,000-seat amphitheatre.

Day 6: Pamukkale & Hierapolis

Stop At: Hierapolis & Pamukkale, Pamukkale 20280 Turkey
This morning we head to Pamukkale and its magnificent white calcium terraces known as travertines. Here we also tour the ancient city of Hierapolis. Amongst the ancient columns, take a dip in the hot springs that were used by the Romans for their therapeutic properties. In the evening, there is the option to watch a Whirling Dervish ritual.

Day 7: Bursa

Stop At: Green Mosque, Yesil Mahallesi, Bursa 16360 Turkey
Today we head back to Istanbul, on the way passing through rural Turkey and the city of Bursa to visit the famous Green Mosque (Yeşil Cami) and explore the Silk Bazaar.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 8: Departure Day

Stop At: Istanbul, Istanbul
After breakfast, our tour concludes, and we say goodbye to our new friends. You will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
