Seven Churches of Revelation in Turkey,
The Seven Churches of Revelation are ancient churches that St John wrote about in the Bible. Each church received a letter calling them to repent for their sins and correct their current course. When the letters to the churches were sent, there were active Christian communities in each of the towns. According to legend, the 7 churches were all on a well-worn trade route, each church received a specific message, to be delivered to the congregation. The first church was located at Ephesus, the first stop along the trade route, followed by Smyrna, now İzmir, then the great city of Pergamon, then Thyatira, wealthy Sardis, Philadelphia and finally Laodicea, near modern-day Denizli. The messages were distributed in order, allowing them to circulate throughout the Christian community of the age. The letters were intended to correct the ills of the churches in each city and are still a point of interest and pilgrimage for Chistian communities today.

Itinerary
Day 1: Seven Churches Tour for 2 Days
Stop At: Laodicea, Just off Denizli – Pamukkale, Denizli Turkey
Early morning we will pick you up from your Istanbul hotel, transfer to airport and flight to Denizli, arrival and pick up from
Denizli airport start the tour with a visit to the
ancient city of Laodikya:
Large Church
Council Building
Stadium and Gymnasium
Monumental Nypheum
Zeus Temple
Small theatre
Large theatre
Drive to Philadelphia.
Arrive in Philadelphia and visit the
church of Philadelphia before
heading to Sardis.
Arrive in Sardis and visit the Church
of Sardis before departing for
Thyatira, stopping for lunch on the
way.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
Visit to the Church of Thyatira, then drive to
Bergama where we will spend the night

Stop At: Ruins of Pergamum, 8 km (5 mi) from Bergama, Bergama Turkey
We will visit Pergamon Church in here.

Day 2: Seven Churches Tour for Two days
Stop At: Pergamon Theatre, Kurtulus Mah. Akrapol Yolu No:2 Bergama Merkez, Bergama, Bergama Turkey
After having breakfast at your hotel then an early start for ancient
Pergamon where our visit
includes the Church and the
Acropolis. We then depart
for Izmir (ancient Smyrna)
,stopping for lunch on the
way.
Arrival in Izmir, and lunch at a
local restaurant. We then
depart for the site of Smyrna
Visit the Smyrna Church,
then drive to Selcuk, the
modern day location of
ancient Ephesus.
Tour of the ancient city of
Ephesus which includes:
The gymnasium
Agora
Domitian Square
Hadrian Temple
Roman Bath
Celsus Library
Theatre.
We also visit the Basilica of
St John and the House of
Virgin Mary.
Tour ends – drop off Izmir airport then flight to Istanbul, no transfer in Istanbul.

We will visit Symirna church in here.
