The tour will start picking from our hotels in Alanya. We will drive over Antalya through the Taurus Mountains passing the Salda Lake to Pamukkale and have our breakfast along the way. We will arrive at Pamukkale at noon. You will have a chance to see the thermal water of Pamukkale has offered beauty and health to people since ancient times. Pamukkale, meaning “cotton castle” in Turkish, is a natural site in Denizli Province in southwestern Turkey. The area is famous for a carbonate mineral left by the flowing of thermal spring water. People have visited the area for thousands of years, due to the attraction of the thermal pools.

After Pamukkale thermal pools. you will discoverer the ancient city Hierapolis with its enormous necropolis and graves. Located in the province of Denizli, this extraordinary landscape was a focus of interest for visitors to the nearby Hellenistic spa town of Hierapolis, founded by the Attalid kings of Pergamom at the end of the 2nd century B.C., at the site of an ancient cult. Its hot springs were also used for scouring and drying wool. Ceded to Rome in 133 B.C., Hierapolis flourished, reaching its peak of importance in the 2nd and 3rd centuries A.D., having been destroyed by an earthquake in 60 A.D. and rebuilt.
