Itinerary
Day 1: Ephesus Ancient City & House of The Virgin Mary & Temple of Artemis
Stop At: Ancient City of Ephesus, Selcuk 35920 Turkey
Firstly, you will stop in Ephesus Ancient City. The extensive ruins which include Varius Bath Complex, The Odeon, State Agora, The Temples of Dea Roma, Prytaneion, Domitian Square, Hercules Gate, Curetes Street, The Fountain of Trajan, The Baths of Scholastica, Temple of Hadrian, Celsius Library, The Gymnasium, Great Theatre.. And much more monuments stand in the special atmosphere of Ephesus, charming each one. Once it was a commerce and trade center of the ancient world, later on became a sacred religious place of the early Christianity and today, a famous and unique tourism center proving all its perfects to the visitors as one of the biggest open air museum in the world.

Stop At: Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House), Sultaniye Mahallesi, Selcuk 35100 Turkey
Next stop is to visit The House of Virgin Mary, the place where it is believed that she had spent last years of her life. It is considered that St. John brought Virgin Mary to Ephesus after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and that a small house was built for her on Bulbul Mountain. On July 26, 1967, Pope Paul VI visited The House of Virgin Mary and declared one of the pilgrimage center.

Stop At: The Temple of Artemis, Ataturk, Park Ici Yolu No:12, Selcuk Turkey
Then drive to the Temple of Artemis which was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, although there is one single column left today, magnificient temple had been built for the goddess of fertility and hunters, Artemis, known as Diana after city passed under the rule of Romans.
Note : Ancient city of Ephesus it’s an open air museum and includes 1,5 km. walking. Sun-cream-umbrella or hat is really recommended. Not recommended for people with physical disabilities.

Day 2: Pamukkale & Hierapolis Ancient City
Stop At: Pamukkale, Pamukkale
Tour begins with driving to Pamukkale that has the meaning of the Cotton Castle in English. Once well- known as Hierapolis, famous for healing thermal spa center / mineral Baths and beautiful snow-white “petrified waterfalls. After lunch visit Hierapolis, including the magnificently preserved Necropolis with 1200 tombs, the main Street and Gates, the thermal Baths, the devil’s hole(plutonium cave), and Masterpiece Theater. Pamukkale terraces are made of travertine, a sedimentary rock deposited by water from the hot springs. In this area, there are 17 hot water springs in which the temperature ranges from 30 °C to 100 °C The water that emerges from the spring is transported 320 meters (1,050 ft.) to the head of the travertine terraces and deposits calcium carbonate on a section 70 to 80 meters long covering an expanse of 240 meters to 300 meters. Swimming or a therapeutic bath in a hotel pool’s hot spring mineral Waters.
Important Note : The given times on the itineraries are aprox. times. The times can be changed depends upon weather conditions, crowds in the sites, traffic , group members’ walking abilities.
Special Note : Guests must be able to walk approximately 0,5 miles over of travertine without shoos. A hat and plenty of sunscreen are recommended. The order of the tour itinerary may vary in order to avoid congestion. Guests should watch their step at all times in order to avoid injuries because the waterfalls can be slippy. Due to the nature of this tour, it is recommended for guests with walkers or wheelchairs till waterfalls. Bring sunscreen and a hat, as shade is limited and bring swimwear for walking in the water at Pamukkale which is the snow-white “petrified waterfalls”.

Day 3: Priene Ancient City & Miletus Ancient City & Didyma Temple of Apollon
Stop At: Priene Antik Kenti, Soke/aydIn Güllübahçe mahallesi, Gullubahce Turkey
Arrive the first Ancient City of Priene. One of the most important episcopate center during the Byzantine era, the ancient city Priene north of Miletus was given a very geometric design of intersecting right angles which is so called hippodamus plan(grid-plan). The most important structure in the city is the Temple of Athena on top of the hill with its five columns. In addition, northeast of the city is a 7000 person seating capacity theater constructed in the Hellenistic era which is definitely worth to see.

Stop At: Miletus, Didim Turkey
Then after drive to; Miletos Ancient City Located north of Didim, Miletos was a coastal city with 4 ports and one of the most important Ionian settlements. Its golden age was the 7th and 6th centuries BC. During this period philosophers in Miletos were putting down what would become the foundation of Western science and culture. The 5300 person theater built in the Hellenistic era was later enlarged to by the Romans and had a final seating capacity of 15,000. Faustina bath complex is really worth to see as well.

Stop At: Temple of Apollo, Ataturk Boulevard Yenihisar, Didim 07330 Turkey
Next stop is to visit the Didyma Apollon Temple. It was the center of prophetic oracles behind ranking Apollon Temple at Delphoi in antiquity. The Temple of Apollon in Didim was planned as a dipteros (having two rows of columns) but was never completely finished.
