The Büyük Valide Han is Istanbul’s largest historic han (caravanserai). The Theodosius Cistern is one of many ancient cisterns of Constantinople that lie beneath the city of Istanbul. In 2018, the previously undiscovered 5th-century cistern opened its doors to visitors.
