Day 1: Cappadocia & North Cappadocia Tour

Your driver will be pick-up you at your Istanbul hotel and transfer you to Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gokcen Airport for Cappadocia flight. Pick you up from any hotel in Istanbul central loctaced eurpon side of Istanbul for airport transfer.Istanbul hotel pick up time is between 04.00 am and 6.00 am, depend on exact flight time.Departure time, which is specified as 9.00 am, is approximately it is the time when you will be at the airport in Cappadocia. When you landed to Cappadocia we will greet you at Kayseri or Nevsehir airport and transfer to Cappadocia.

Goreme Open Air Museum especially important to understand the influence of the religion, especially of Christianity, on the region. For good reasons it is the most famous attraction, a complex of several painted cave-churches carved out by Orthodox monks between 900 and 1200 AD.

Visit to Avanos, one of the oldest settlements in Cappadocia. Visit the pottery making workshop, one of the most important handicrafts of Cappadocia. We will also take a short walk along the banks of the Red River, Turkey’s longest river.

Fairy Chimneys, here will explore Pasabag, where is also commonly known as Monks Valley. You will have chance to see the famous mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys as well as St. Simeon’s monk cell carved into the rock.
