Avanos, a town and district that is noted for its Turkish craft skills. Rug-weaving and pottery-making are important local skills. To say that Avanos is the oldest town in the area is no exaggeration as the Avanos pottery art dates right back to the time of the Hittites in the Bronze Age. Devrent Valley. This is a place to let your mind run free in a seemingly lunar landscape with rock formations that look like animals.
